The Journey
Our Managing Director, Dr. Shatakshi Pandit, always knew the transformative power of dressing well. After completing her PhD, she embarked on a fulfilling academic and professional journey—teaching at Delhi University, contributing to policy research at TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute), and working with Frametrics on data-driven environmental solutions.
But life, as it often does, called for a different kind of commitment. When family responsibilities took center stage, Shatakshi made the conscious choice to step away from her career and embrace the role of a homemaker. For three years, she dedicated herself to this new chapter, finding joy in the everyday moments that matter most.

Yet, somewhere in those three years, an idea kept returning. Shatakshi realized that finding the perfect saree or suit wasn’t just about aesthetics—it was about confidence, identity, and self-expression. She remembered how a well-draped saree could transform an ordinary day into something extraordinary, how the right outfit could make you walk taller, speak bolder, and feel unstoppable.
That’s when NIVVI was born—not just as a clothing brand, but as a movement to help women feel their best through thoughtfully curated sarees and suits.
